Pay People allows you to send money directly to almost anyone using their email or U.S. mobile phone number, right from TCT's Mobile/Online Banking.
Why use TCT’s Pay People?
It's simple. Your money moves instantly, so you and the recipient are never left waiting. Plus, both of your financial details are securely protected.
TCT members and others within the payment network with a checking account and debit card will instantly receive the funds.
All other receivers may choose to deposit the funds directly to their checking account using their debit card information or choose a gift card with a higher value.
Whether you’re splitting the dinner check, paying the babysitter, or sending a gift, TCT has you covered.
Get started with Pay People today by logging into your TCT Federal Credit Union Mobile Banking app or Online Banking account.
You must have a TCT Checking account, an activated TCT Debit Card and be enrolled in Online or Mobile Banking to use the Pay People feaure.
The Pay People feature is designed for small transactions, such as splitting lunch or paying friends back. Currently, you can send a minimum of $1.00 and a maximum that may vary by member. Additionally, transaction limitations are in place to promote financial security. If you are unable to send your desired payment, contact TCT for assistance.
Anyone with an email address or mobile phone number in the United States may instantly receive funds.
TCT members and others within the payment network with a checking account will instantly receive the funds.
All other receivers may deposit the funds directly into their checking account or choose a higher-value gift card.
When the receiver is outside the payment network, they will receive a unique link to claim the funds within 48 hours. If the recipient doesn't claim the funds in that time period, the money will be returned to the original sending account.
The most common errors that occur when sending money via the TCT Pay People feature are exceeding the transaction limits, surpassing the frequency limits, an insufficient checking account balance, or a non-activated or locked debit card.
