Distance Saves Lives Blood Drive

TCT's Blood Drive Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2020

Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: 333 Glen Street, Glens Falls NY

As the pandemic wears on, blood and platelet donations continue to be essential to hospital patients. The American Red Cross is calling on donors to come together to help others in their time of need. TCT is pleased to announce that we are partnering with other local businesses to create the Distance Saves Lives Blood Drive Series from November to January. This is a friendly challenge to see who can get the most donors.

We need your help! We have 65 slots to fill for our day. Details of the event are as follows:

Donation Gift: Free Cup of Stewarts Coffee and Free Pint of Stewarts Ice Cream for TCT members, and family and friends of TCT donating at the Dec. 2 Drive!

Sign up to Give: Donors are asked to make appointments by downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering Sponsor Code: DISTANCESAVESLIVES, then selecting the December 2 date.

Out of the Area: Employees out of the area can sign up to donate at a blood drive nearest to them by following this trackable link. Use your Zip code or the Sponsor Code: DISTANCESAVESLIVES

Criteria for Donating: 17 years of age and weighing a minimum of 110 pounds.

Diversity in Blood Donor Pool: All blood types, races, and ethnicities encouraged and welcome to join. Sickle cell disease impacts so many lives; please reference the attached flyer.

We hope you can join us and support this worthwhile cause.
